The musical's choreography was created by Christopher Wheeldon and co-choreographers Rich and Tone Talauega, who were both backup dancers and collaborators for Michael Jackson.

By 4 September 2022, the Broadway production broke the Neil Simon Theater's box office record five times with a total cumulative gross of $49.4 million

Michael Jackson's Dangerous tour visited 69 concerts in Europe, Asia, and Latin America and reached over 3.5 million people. All profits from the tour were donated to charities, including Jackson's own Heal the World Foundation.
