The tour coincides with the release of her second album, The Art of Loving, on September 26, 2025.

The highly anticipated record follows her critically acclaimed 2023 debut, Messy, which was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize.

The album is described as "a tender, intentional deep dive into the many dimensions of love—romantic, platonic, self, and everything in between". It is noted as her "most intimate work yet". The title may draw inspiration from Erich Fromm's book of the same name.

In a June 2025 interview with PAPER magazine, Dean described the personal growth she experienced since her debut, stressing her more confident and joyful approach to making music this time around.

"Honestly, I'm a different person. I'm a completely different person in some ways," she said. "I've grown up a lot. There is a greater sense of confidence in what she has to say and how she wants to say it. Dean feels braver and happier. She enjoyed making music more than ever before. Making Messy was quite stressful... This time, she aimed to have fun."

Confirmed tracks

The album will feature several pre-released singles, including:

"Nice to Each Other," which Dean described as "a song about the push and pull of exploring your independence in dating".

"Lady Lady"

"Man I Need"

Olivia Dean and Sam Fender collaborated on the song "Rein Me In." Dean was also a support act for Fender's 2025 stadium tour.

Musical Collaboration

The song:

In June 2025, Fender released a new version of his song "Rein Me In" from the album People Watching, featuring Olivia Dean. Dean wrote a new verse for the duet.

Live performances:

The collaboration was performed live during Fender's 2025 UK stadium tour. They played it for 80,000 people at London Stadium and at St. James' Park in Newcastle.

Fender's praise: Fender said that Dean's contribution made the song "all the better" and called sharing the stage with her "a joy".
